Algoma Street Homicide – UPDATE
THUNDER BAY – The victim in the Algoma Street homicide has been identified as David Hugh Sweeney, 59-years-old of Thunder Bay.

His next of kin have been notified and the post-mortem has been completed.

Police continue to hold the residence on North Algoma Street as part of the ongoing investigation.

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service are continuing to investigate the death of a 59-year-old male found in at a North Algoma Street residence as a homicide.

The residence remains under police control pending the results of the post-mortem.
