Fire Rescue Recover Body of Deceased Male

THUNDER BAY – UPDATED – Thunder Bay Police, along with Emergency First Responders are on scene this morning at Kam River Park in the downtown Fort William area. Police have blocked off parts of the area near the Thunder Bay Rowing Club.

Thunder Bay Police report that Emergency services were dispatched to the area of Dock Street at approximately 8:20 a.m. on September 1, 2018, on a report of a citizen locating a body in the Kaministiquia River.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue conducted a water recovery of a deceased male.

Police are holding the scene at this time as it is in the early stages of this investigation.

This investigation is ongoing.
