THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are working to make our community safer. There has been a number of arrests lately of drug dealers. A few days after the arrest of Kurt Downer, after a weekend standoff at 288 Windsor, police have announced the results of a drug investigation that led to more arrests this morning.

Several of the individuals arrested are from Southern Ontario. Police have been witnessing a growing presence of gang members in our community selling drugs. Part of the reason is the level of addiction in the city, and the remoteness which means prices in Thunder Bay are higher.
