Police Charge Woman Following August 21st Accident

THUNDER BAY = NEWS – On the morning of August 27th, 2018, the Thunder Bay Police Traffic Unit made an arrest in regards to the failure to remain motor vehicle collision which occurred at Ford Street at Isabella Street on August 21st, 2018. The collision left a 60-year-old Thunder Bay male with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A 57-year-old Thunder Bay female was taken into custody at the Thunder Bay Police Station this morning and will appear in court today.

The woman who cannot be identified before she has appeared before a judge has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident – causing bodily harm, contrary to the Criminal Code and a stop sign violation contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.

The Thunder Bay Police received numerous tips from the public in regards to this collision and would like to thank the public for their assistance.
