- Pickle Lake – Cat Lake
A cluster of thunderstorms between Cat Lake and Pickle Lake is moving northeastward at 40 km/h. The main hazards with these storms are torrential downpours and wind gusts to 90 kilometres per hour over the next hour or two.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
