Sioux Lookout – Traffic Stop Results in Drug Charges

OPP have laid a number of charges in a stolen vehicle investigation

SIOUX LOOKOUT – On Sunday, July 29, 2018, at approximately 2:15 pm, members of the Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on First Avenue near Cedar Crescent as the vehicle driver was observed not wearing a seatbelt. Members observed drugs left in plain view inside the vehicle and seized a small quantity of Marijuana, Xanax, and Methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia.

As a result of this investigation, Alphonse TETROE (20) of Dryden, Ontario has been charged with;

  • Possession of a Schedule II substance (Cannabis Marijuana) contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA)
  • Possession of a Schedule IV Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA).

Henry STONE-ARNOLD (28) of Dryden, Ontario was also charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Methamphetamine) contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA).

They were released on a Promise to Appear and are scheduled to appear in Sioux Lookout Court on August 28, 2018, to answer to the charges.
