THUNDER BAY – ENTERTAINMENT – The City of Thunder Bay’s Live on the Waterfront hosts its sixth edition of the season on August 1, 2018, with headliner Shred Kelly.
Soaked in electric crescendos and folk-tinged, sing-along anthems, Shred Kelly is known for their high-energy live show that ignites dance floors with their alternative folk sound. Over three albums and countless tours, the five British Columbians have developed their signature sound by taking inspiration from the mountains that they hail from and the people who inhabit them. Shred Kelly has seamlessly fused traditional instrumentation with modern rock, presenting a sound that is both unique and compelling.
In addition to Shred Kelly, singer-songwriter Nick Sherman and Thunder Bay-based musician Jean-Paul de Roover will also perform on the OPG Community Stage Wednesday evening.
Live on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation and funded in part by the Government of Ontario, runs from 6-9 pm every Wednesday in Marina Park until the end of August.
Admission is free.
