Police Make Arrest in Tupper Street Break and Enter Arrest

THUNDER BAY – Police were called to the Tupper Street and Sheppard Street area just after 5:00 p.m. on July 25, 2018, to assist a citizen who had restrained a male suspect in possession of stolen property.

Officers arrived to assist a 54-year-old male who observed a male with his hockey bag that had been stolen in a break and enter at a High Street building earlier in the day.

Jason Mayer was arrested and has been charged with Break, Enter & Theft, and Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000. He appeared in court and has been released with a future court date.
