Police seek public’s help in Aggravated Assault investigation

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Thunder Bay Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance as they investigate a serious Aggravated Assault that occurred just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, on Yonge Street at West Gore Street.

The female victim of the assault is in the hospital being treated for serious injuries.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact the Thunder Bay Police Service at 684-1200. Anonymous tips can be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at www.p3tips.com .

The investigation of this assault is in the early stages and no other details are available at this time.
