THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Police Service have seized 11.4 pounds of marijuana following the investigation of a suspicious package on Friday, July 13, 2018.
As a result of an investigation, TBPS Drug Unit officers arrested two accused persons on Monday, July 16, 2018.
Israel Ruiz Robles, 24, of Fort Erie, ON is charged with Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking and Fail to Comply with a Condition of his Recognizance.
Sagan Venayagamoorthi, 25, of Thunder Bay, is charged with Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Both accused appeared in court on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 and have been remanded into custody with a future court date.
The estimated potential street value of the marijuana seized totals $51,900.
