BELLEVILLE – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) have charged three people with offences following a joint investigation in eastern Ontario.
Based on information received and items seized during a traffic stop in Belleville on June 21, 2018, the OCEB Biker Enforcement Unit (BEU) sought and executed search warrants at residences in Belleville, Trenton, and Frankford. During the investigation, members of the OPP Quinte West Community Street Crime Unit, the OPP East Region Emergency Response Team and the Belleville Police Service seized a quantity of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, weigh scales, a quantity of Canadian currency and “colours” belonging to the Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle gang.
As a result of this investigation, Nicholas RUNNALLS, 39 years old of Belleville, Mark DUNN, 48 years old of Trenton; and Calvin HYDERMAN, 61 years old of Frankford have each been charged with:
- Proceeds of Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act(CDSA).
DUNN is scheduled to appear for a show cause hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on June 26th, HYDERMAN is scheduled to appear for a show cause hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on June 27thand RUNNALLS is released, with an appearance on August 20th, 2018.
