Red Lake OPP Lay Child Pornography Charges

OPP have laid a number of charges in a stolen vehicle investigation

RED LAKE – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, the OPP Digital Forensics Unit and the Red Lake Detachment have arrested and charged a Red Lake man following a lengthy internet investigation.

On May 16th, 2018, police executed a search warrant at a residence in the Municipality of Red Lake. In doing so, numerous computer devices were seized.

As a result of this investigation, police arrested Bo Charles JARDINE, 35 years old from Madsen, Ontario. Mr. JARDINE is charged with one count of Making Child Pornography, one count of Making Available Child Pornography, one count of Possession of Child Pornography and two counts of Accessing Child Pornography, all contrary to Section 163.1 of the Criminal Code.

The accused remains in custody following a bail hearing. The investigation is continuing.
