THUNDER BAY – Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day says that there is transformation underway at the Chiefs of Ontario (COO). The Regional Chief has been working to make the organization more effective. Chief Day tells NetNewsLedger that to make the organization fully able to reach its full potential there are a number of processes underway.

The Regional Chief has been working with the Board of Directors, and with Chiefs from across Ontario toward transformation.

Details of the full plan are coming out over the next coming days and weeks.

Over the past several years, as Ontario Regional Chief, there have been a number of major successes for the Chiefs of Ontario. They include the Political Accord signed with Ontario. They include changes to the Child Welfare portfolio, and to the Health portfolio.

As Regional Chief, Isadore Day has traveled extensively across Ontario and provided inspirational talks at graduations as well as in communities across Ontario.
