Police Seek Two Suspects in Assault on 82-year-old Man

THUNDER BAY – CRIME News – The Thunder Bay Police Service has released a video of two males who have been deemed as persons of interest involved in the assault of the 82-year-old male last week on Rockwood Ave.

#1 – Male with blonde hair, wearing a grey hoodie pulled up with a ball cap and dark shoes
#2 – Male wearing a ball cap, dark clothes, and white shoes

Elderly Male Assaulted

The Thunder Bay Police Service is currently investigating an assault that occurred on the 100 block of Rockwood Avenue yesterday afternoon.

An 82 year old male was out walking when he was approached at approximately 11:00 a.m. by two males and assaulted. The suspects fled the area and neighbours came out to assist the male and contact police. The male was taken to hospital by ambulance for medical attention.

Suspect #1 is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 18 to 20 years old. He is 5’10” tall with a slim build. He was wearing a grey hoodie, black pants and a blue & white cap

Suspect #2 is a Caucasian male approximately 18 to 20 years old. He was wearing a grey hoodie and black pants.

This investigation is ongoing.
