SIOUX LOOKOUT – WEATHER – There are freezing rain alerts issued by Environment Canada for much of the region. The weather could impact both highway and air travel.

Freezing rain warning in effect for:

  • Savant Lake – Sturgeon Lake
  • Fort Hope – Lansdowne House – Ogoki
  • Armstrong – Auden – Wabakimi Park
  • Pickle Lake – Cat Lake
  • Nakina – Aroland – Pagwa

Freezing rain is expected or occurring.

A period of freezing rain beginning this morning.

Freezing rain is likely to develop this morning as temperatures drop to near or below the zero degree mark.

Periods of freezing rain are expected throughout the day. With temperatures remaining very close to the zero degree mark, the precipitation may occasionally fall as rain in some areas. The freezing precipitation will come to an end this evening.
