Sioux Lookout – Police Report Fentanyl Lace Street Drugs Causing Overdoses

OPP have laid a number of charges in a stolen vehicle investigation

SIOUX LOOKOUT – The Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are reporting that they have received numerous calls for service surrounding people overdosing while using street drugs. The most recent incident involved a female using what she believed to be cocaine.  The female became unresponsive and was sent to the hospital via ambulance. Once at the hospital she received treatment for an overdose.

There is believed to be more fentanyl-laced street drugs in Sioux Lookout. Police are asking the public to phone 911 immediately if they see anyone they suspect to be suffering from an overdose.
