What Do You Need to Know?
A very informative Town Hall meeting was held by Councillor Frank Pullia on Social Infrastructure. The Town Hall attracted a full house of interested people at the 55 Plus Centre. A panel of experts outlined the serious issues that our social infrastructure is facing. Superior EMS is reporting that in 2017 the number of overdose cases that they responded to doubled. Thunder Bay is facing a major crisis with opioids and addiction. Dealing with those issues has often put both the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and the EMS into effective gridlock.
NetNewsLedger was there, and has the full exclusive video coverage of the event. The video is currently uploading to Youtube and will be available soon. If you are wondering about some of the serious impacts of social problems, this video is a must watch.
