Assault Results in Arrest for 31-year-old Male

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police report that a 31-year-old Thunder Bay male was arrested yesterday after a female reported an assault just before noon on April 18, 2018.

The 40-year-old female contacted police to report that when she was visiting the male at his residence in the 600 block of South Catherine Street, they had an altercation which resulted in her being threatened with an edged weapon. She was able to leave the residence and go to a nearby house and call the police.

Officers located the male walking on Moodie Street where he was taken into custody at approximately 12:10 p.m.

Paul Joseph Vuckmanich has been charged with Assault with a Weapon. He appeared in court this morning and has been remanded into custody.
