Rupert Street Sudden Death Investigation – UPDATE

A post-mortem was conducted in relation to a sudden death on Rupert Street on April 1, 2018. As a result it has been determined to be a Coroner’s investigation. The Thunder Bay Police Service will continue to assist the Coroner’s Office in their investigation.

 

The Thunder Bay Police Service is on scene conducting a sudden death investigation in the 100 block of Rupert Street.

Police attended this residence on April 1, 2018, and discovered a deceased person within the home. A post-mortem was conducted on today’s date and the police are treating this death as suspicious.

Police are holding the scene. The investigation is continuing.
