Thunder Bay – The City of Thunder Bay’s Solid Waste & Recycling Facility will be operating on holiday hours this Easter weekend. This also includes the City of Thunder Bay’s recycling depots.
Good Friday, March 30 – Closed
Saturday, March 31 – 8 am – 4:30 pm
Sunday, April 1 and Monday, April 2 – Closed
Regular hours begin Tuesday, April 3
The Solid Waste & Recycling Facility is located on the west side of Mapleward Road at 5405 Mapleward Rd., between Oliver Road and John Street Road.
City Recycling depots:
- Mountdale Avenue & Walsh Street Depot, across from Westgate High School
- Front Street Depot, between McIntyre and Van Horne Streets
