Weather Update at 11:30 am Monday March 26 2018
THUNDER BAY – Snow is in the forecast again. It could be that March is trying to go out like the proverbial lion. For Thunder Bay, Environment Canada is forecasting up to 10 cm of snow. For Nipigon, Rossport and on into Wawa along the Northshore of Lake Superior as much as 15 cm of snow could fall.
The snow is expected to start Monday night, and last overnight into Tuesday before turning to rain.
Road Conditions for travel east of Thunder Bay are likely to be a concern.

- Marathon – Schreiber
- Nipigon – Rossport
Snowfall of 10 to 15 cm possible tonight into Tuesday morning.
Snow is expected to begin this evening over regions to the north of Lake Superior. The snow will transition to rain Tuesday afternoon as temperatures rise above the zero degree mark. Total snowfall amounts of 10 cm are likely with local amounts up to 15 cm possible.
The snowfall may have a significant impact on transportation. Motorists are urged to exercise caution.
