Stabbing Suspect in Custody

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police have a man in custody following a stabbing on the north side of the city. Uniform Patrol officers responded to a 911 call at 1:30 am on March 19, 2018, reporting that a male had just been stabbed outside the Royalton Hotel located at the corner of Court Street and Bay Street.

The 51-year-old male victim was transported by EMS and is being treated at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

A 42-year-old male was arrested and has been charged with Aggravated Assault.

The investigation is ongoing.
