Sioux Lookout OPP Arrest Two Suspects In December Break and Enter

SIOUX LOOKOUT – The Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested two males in relation to a break and enter that occurred between December 21, 201, and December 27, 2017. The incident involved a number of people breaking into a commercial building on Seventh Avenue in Sioux Lookout. While inside the building, the suspects damaged property, discharged a fire extinguisher and left several empty liquor bottles.

DNA was obtained from the items left from the individuals and as a result, John CHIKANE (42 years old) of Weagamow Lake FNT and Stanley MOQUANO (39 years old) of Slate Falls FNT have been charged with Break and Enter contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.

Both males have been released from custody and have a court date of April 10, 2018, in the Sioux Lookout Court of Justice.
