What are your hobbies and interests? Chances are, there are thousands of people around the world searching for those things every day, so if you could see yourself writing about them daily, you might want to consider starting a blog! You can use social media to gain a following, and watch as more and more people start to share your articles all over the internet.
As a blogger, you can earn money from advertisers, through sponsorships, and a variety of other ways. As long as you have the passion and the determination to stick with it because it can take a while for a new blog to get off the ground.
3. Streaming
If you have a big personality and enjoy playing video games or other stream-able activities, there are a handful of people earning quite decent livings by broadcasting their lives on sites like Twitch. Over time, you can build up an audience of followers and fans, who will pay a monthly fee to subscribe to your stream, along with once-off donations.
It can be a grind to build up a following, so don’t count on this for any kind of short-term money. Also, many streamers have suggested that getting into it for the money is a tough endeavor and that you’ve really got to have a passion for it.

Amazon makes it incredibly easy for anybody to write their own books, and then to publish them right on Amazon for Kindle users to enjoy. Once you’ve done the initial work, this can be a passive source of income. There are a lot of books being published this way, of varying degrees of quality, so just taking your time and making an excellent-quality book will put you ahead of the pack.

This is when you promote somebody else’s product, and you earn a commission for every sale. The positives are that you don’t have to carry any inventory, and it’s easier to get started than if you had created your own product.
Many huge sites have affiliate programs, including eBay and Amazon. If you want to write about traveling, for example, you can join affiliate programs for most of the popular travel booking sites. If you enjoy gambling, you could look at sites like AskGamblers, the world’s largest casino affiliate website, for inspiration.
There are so many ways you can earn money online based on your interests and hobbies, which makes it a lot easier to keep interested, especially if this is a side-project.
