THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Hydro is calling for volunteers to serve on a Local Advisory Council which will represent the customer’s perspective as the company manages an evolving electricity industry.

“As a local distribution company, we are here to serve our customers’ needs,” says Amanda Leonzio, Customer Service Supervisor. “In order to adapt to changes in those needs and expectations, we feel that an advisory council is the right setting for customers to give their input. We hope to get interest from a wide range of perspectives.”

Applications are being sought from representatives from each of the company’s customer classes (residential, commercial and industrial). Members of the council will serve for a two-year term in which they are expected to meet at least four times a year.

Deadline to apply is April 10, 2018. More information and applications are available on the company website www.tbhydro.com.
