DRYDEN – CRIME UPDATE – A Dryden homeowner got a bit of a shock on Sunday.  On February 25, 2018, around 8:00 pm, police were called to a break and enter in progress in the area of Wilson Street, where a homeowner had apprehended a 15-year-old male fleeing from his home.

When police arrived they learned that the homeowner and his family arrived home to find the 15-year-old suspect inside the home who then attempted to flee. The homeowner and another family member gave chase to the suspect and apprehended him until police arrived.

The target of both incidents was girls’ clothing. The accused was charged with Break and Enter to a Dwelling and released on a Promise to Appear for March 20th in Dryden.
