What do You Need to Know?

EAR FALLS – Dialogue between one another is critical to our long-term success in Northwestern Ontario. This past weekend I was pleased to spend time with local leaders and stakeholders during the Kenora District Municipal Association’s (KDMA) annual general meeting (AGM) in Ear Falls. Read the report from MP Bob Nault.

DRYDEN – The Lil Bands hockey tournament, one of the highlights of the season is underway in Dryden. The youth and their parents and chaperones get to enjoy a week of great hockey, fellowship, and fun. Dryden business gets an incredible boost as there likely isn’t a hotel room to be found, and getting into local restaurants is going to be more like New York, needing reservations. This fun event brings teams from across Northern Ontario and well as from Manitoba.

Gas Up for Less

Fuel prices across the region range from $1.169  at the Safeway in Dryden, $1.244 at the Husky on Chipman Street in Kenora,  In Thunder Bay, the lowest price in the city is $1.226 at Macs on Dawson Road. Out on the Fort William First Nation, gas prices range from $1.067 at THP to $1.139 at First Class Gas. You can get the latest gas prices, including Grand Marias MN at GasPrices on NetNewsLedger.
