Armed Robbery Suspect Sought by Police

THUNDER BAY – CRIME -The Thunder Bay Police Service is looking for assistance to identify a male responsible for a robbery last evening.

Officers attended the Mac’s Convenience store located on Beverly Street just after 10:00 p.m. to take a repost from the 25 year old male employee. He reported that a male entered the store at approximately 10:05 p.m. and then again at 10:09. The second time he entered the store he had a knife and demanded money and cigarettes. He left the store on foot after receiving both items. The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described an Indigenous male approximately 5’10” tall with a thin build and short black hair. He was wearing black clothing as well as red and black shoes.
