THUNDER BAY – DAYSTARTER – Its Sunday, January 28th, 2018. If you and your family are headed down to Prince Arthur’s Landing for the Funday Events you will need to bundle up. It’s a little more seasonal weather wise. Environment Canada is calling for cloudy skies with a 40 percent chance of flurries this morning. However, by this afternoon the weather will shift becoming a mix of sun and cloud. A high of minus 12 is forecast.

THUNDER BAY – Moving Forward was the theme for an event hosted at The Hub on Victoria Avenue East today. In the spirit of the Friendship Agreement to build on the positives, the four signatories are working on. THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – Overall a rough weekend for Lakehead University sports teams. The Lakehead Men’s Hockey team was defeated 4-0 by the York Lions on Saturday night. The Lakehead Women’s Basketball team lost and so did the Men’s Basketball team. The Lakehead Women’s Volleyball team was swept by the McMaster Marauders. We have Full Coverage of LU Sports here.

Fuel prices across the region range from $1.119 at Extra Foods in Dryden, $1.249 in Kenora,  In Thunder Bay, the lowest price in the city is $1.2o at the Mac’s on Dawson Road.
