THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are reporting on a pre-Christmas robbery hoping that help from the public will lead to solving the case.
Police have released images of a suspect responsible for a robbery at the Shopper’s Drug Mart located on East Arthur Street on December 21, 2017, at approximately 3:30 pm.
A 33-year-old-year old female employee advised that she was working in the fragrance section when she was approached by a male who asked to smell some cologne. When she brought out a bottle, he grabbed it and started to run out of the store knocking over two people on his way out. This employee attempted to block his way at the main entrance of the store but was grabbed and shoved prior to the suspect leaving the store. She was not injured in this incident.
The Shopper’s Drug Mart employee was not injured in this incident.
The suspect is described as a white male in his twenties wearing a toque and a plaid button up shirt.
