Dryden Police Respond to Weapons Call

DRYDEN – On January 10, 2018, around 7:00 pm, Dryden Police Service responded to a call near the 7-11 on Government Street, after a report of a 25-year-old male threatening 3 people inside a truck with a knife.

During the incident, the accused engaged in yelling and screaming at the 3 victims uttering death threats at them. The accused left the area for a short time and returned displaying a knife toward 3 victims continuing to utter death threats at them. The victims quickly left the area and called the police.

Dryden Police arrested Johnathon Patrie – 25 of Dryden and a short time later. He was taken into custody and charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Assault with a Weapon under the Criminal Code. Patrie will appear in court in Sioux Lookout on January 12, 2018
