THUNDER  BAY – For the first time ever Million Dollar Smiles is going to be sending 12 four-foot Teddy Bears (each with a $100 Toy Sense Thunder Bay gift certificate) to special MDS children in Thunder Bay and surrounding area because of one special boy Alex Mitchell who was touched by the generosity of Million Dollar Smiles towards him at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. We have 12 local sponsors for the 12 bears for the 12 children. When we told people about the idea of bringing this to Thunder Bay local businesses wanted to help out. Porter Airlines YQT Management flew the bears in free of charge from Toronto to Thunder Bay. Locally owned Toy Sense donated an additional $25 gift certificate on top of the $100 from the sponsors. Victoria Inn Hotel donated a free overnight poolside stay to every child and their family receiving a bear.
