Report of Double Homicide in Cat Lake FN

THUNDER BAY – Reports from Cat Lake First Nation are that a double homicide has happened in the small First Nation community about 180 kilometres north of Sioux Lookout. There are about 650 people who live in the community.

Sources tell NetNewsLedger that a suspect is in custody.

The Ontario Provincial Police are expected to release more details later today.

The community is in a state of shock following the incident which has apparently seen two males killed.

No names have been released.
