WAWA – WEATHER – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East (Wawa) Detachment advises that Highway 17 is closed from Wawa to Batchewana due to deteriorating road and weather conditions.
A road closure is also set up at Highway 101 East from Wawa to Chapleau due to deteriorating road and weather conditions.
OPP advises motorists to exercise caution as driving conditions are hazardous at this time, so please stay off the roads unless emergent travel is required.
The O.P.P. will distribute details and updates of the road advisory as information becomes available.
