Police Seek Mac’s Robbery Suspect in November 25 Incident

TBPS Seek Robbery Suspect

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are trying to identify the suspect involved in a robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the Mac’s Convenience store located at the corner of Arthur Street and Mountdale Ave.

At 1:15 a.m. a male enter the store with his face cover with a bandana while armed with a hammer.

He demanded the 23-year-old male store clerk open the till. The suspect fled the location on foot with two other individuals in the direction of the Shopper’s Drug Mart on Arthur Street. The area was checked but the suspects were not located. The employee was not injured.

Police are releasing a video of the male suspect who is described as being approximately 5’7″ tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants, black footwear and a black cap with Nike in white writing on it.
