FORT FRANCES – Six people are facing charges following the execution of a search warrant in Fort Frances.
The OPP report that in the early morning of November 30, 2017 members of the Ontario Provincial Police’s Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU); Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB); Tactical Response Unit (TRU); North West Region Crime Unit; North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT); North West Region Crisis Negotiation Team; and the Treaty Three Police Service executed a search warrant at a local residence in Fort Frances, Ontario. In executing the warrant six persons were arrested; and a quantity of ‘Crystal Meth’ (Methamphetamine) along with cash, ammunition, and a firearm were seized.
As a result of the investigation the following persons, of Fort Frances, Ontario, have been charged with multiple Criminal offences related to the possession of a firearm and also the Trafficking of Methamphetamine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

The accused persons will be appearing in Fort Frances Criminal Court on December 1, 2017.
