RED LAKE – The Ontario Provincial Police report that the death investigation of a male located in the area of Howey Street in Red Lake on October 29, 2017 has now been confirmed to be as a result of a homicide.

Members of the Red Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment, North West Region Forensic Identification Unit, Emergency Response Team, Underwater Search and Recovery Unit in conjunction with the North West Region Crime Unit are continuing their investigation under the direction of Detective Inspector Darryl Sigouin of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
