KENORA – CRIMEBEAT – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB)-Kenora Drug Unit, have charged three people following an investigation into ongoing drug trafficking in the City of Kenora.
OPP report that on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 12:40 pm, OCEB, with the assistance of the OPP Central Region Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Kenora OPP Community Street Crime Unit, OPP Regional Support Unit, OPP Aboriginal Intelligence Unit, OPP Northwest Region Emergency Response Team, OPP Northwest Region Crisis Negotiators and the OPP K9 Unit arrested a male in the downtown area of Kenora. At the same time, a search warrant was executed in the central area of the city. Two more people were arrested at the residence. As a result the following people, all from Kenora, have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Hydromorphone contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
- William LACY, 44 years old.
- Rosalyn READ, 44 years old.
- Tristan WILDFONG, 22 years old.
They are to appear in Kenora Court on November 30, 2017, to answer to the charges.
