THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police have made what is being called a major drug raid that has resulted in the seizure of cash and drugs totaling $200,000.

The investigation started in Thunder Bay and led investigators to a residence in Shuniah where officers raided that location and made the seizures of the drugs and cash. There were $123,000 in cash seized, $14,000 worth of cocaine, and an additional $63,000 in fentanyl pills taken during the raid.

Police say that the fentanyl pills were designed to look like oxycodone pills. This was according to police done to maximize the street value of the drug.

Police arrested Trevor Beriault a resident of Shuniah, who now faces drug charges along with charges related to breaches of court orders.

Trevor Beriault who is twenty-six-years-old has been remanded into custody.

None of the charges have been proven in a court of law.
