They will also meet again later in the day at 8 p.m. at Fort William First Nation Arena.
The Kings and Wings will then wrap up their series Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Fort William Gardens.
From there Thunder Bay’s minor midgets will gear up for Round 2 of North American Prospects Hockey League play, Oct. 21-23, in Blaine, Minn.
Providing the opposition in Blaine will be four under-16 sides in the Shattuck-St. Mary’s Sabres and New Jersey Titans along with a pair of Pennsylvania-based clubs in the Valley Forge Minutemen and the Esmark Stars from Pittsburgh.
The Kings sit tied for fifth early on in the 18-team NAPHL U-16 Division with a 2-1-1 record.
