THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Junior Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham announced the following suspensions resulting from incidents during Sunday’s contest between the English River Miners and Dryden GM Ice Dogs at Memorial Arena.

TREVOR KAVANAUGH, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – ONE (1) GAME

Player is suspended one (1) game under Hockey Canada Rule 4.6 (c) for incurring a game misconduct in the final 10 minutes of regulation.

Kavanaugh will miss tonight’s home game vs. the Fort Frances Lakers.

BRENDAN JAY, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – TWO (2) GAMES

Player is suspended two (2) games under Supplementary Discipline and will sit out this evening’s contest vs. Fort Frances and the Sept. 30 match-up at Fort Frances.

ERIK ENGDAHL, ENGLISH RIVER MINERS – ONE (1) GAME

Player is suspended one (1) game under Hockey Canada Rule 4.6 (c) for incurring a game misconduct in the final 10 minutes of regulation.

Engdahl will miss the Miners home game on Friday, Sept. 29 vs. Fort Frances

JOSH BREZNIK, ENGLISH RIVER MINERS – ONE (1) GAME

Player is suspended one (1) game under Supplementary Discipline and will miss the Friday, Sept. 29 contest vs. Fort Frances.
