THUNDER BAY – Rocking Recovery Day in Thunder Bay brought out the community to share stories of recovery from addiction and stories of hope.

Thunder Bay struggles with issues with addiction. The majority of the calls for the Thunder Bay Police Service are “Quality of Life” Calls.

The crowd at Rocking Recovery Day heard from acting Mayor Joe Virdiramo proclaim September as “Recovery Month”.

There were booths from a number of community organizations offering information and help.

The “Ramones” led by Ron Knutski with help from a number of the Ramones.

There were a number of speakers sharing their success stories, as well as a number of musical acts and entertainment.
