Gull Bay Man Charged with Assault

GULL BAY – On Monday, August 14, 2017 at approximately 10:15PM EDT, officers from the Armstrong Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Gull Bay First Nation were advised of a serious assault that occurred on Gull Bay First Nation.

The victim of the assault was transported to hospital in Thunder Bay by ambulance, with non-life threatening injuries.

Larry BOUCHARD, 25 years of age, from Armstrong was arrested and charged with:

-Assault Causing Bodily Harm contrary to section 267(b) of the Criminal Code,

-Fail to Comply with Undertaking contrary to section 145(5.1) of the Criminal Code.

He was held in custody for a video court appearance.
