Thunder Bay has issued Water Survey Report

MANITOWADGE – Residents of Manitowadge can drink the water again. A Boil Water Advisory which was put in place on June 11th has now been lifted.

The advisory was lifted late last week after the Thunder Bay District Health Unit released tests that the loss of pressure which had caused problems with the water was not showing any of the contamination.

Across Ontario there are well over 100 other communities, many in the far north where boil water orders remain in effect. Many First Nations communities have had boil water advisories in effect for decades.
