THUNDER BAY – TRANSPORTATION – The outflow from Lake Ontario through the St. Lawrence River is scheduled to be increased from 10,200 cubic metres per
second (cms) to 10,400 cms at 12:01 today, June 14, 2017.

This outflow will create velocities higher than normal in the navigation channels and variations in the normal current patterns may occur.

Mariners are advised to exercise caution when navigating the Montreal Lake Ontario Section of the Seaway.
