SIOUX LOOKOUT – BUSINESS – The grand re-opening of Dick’s Grillhouse, re-launched as Dick’s Grillhouse in Sioux Lookout was celebrated on Tuesday June 13th.

The new venture is owned by Muskrat Dam First Nation and Bearskin Lake First Nation who are continuing their economic partnership in Sioux Lookout. The joint venture partnership also includes the very popular Wellington Centre.

Muskrat Dam Chief Stan Beardy, the former Ontario Regional Chief and Nishnawbe-Aski Nation stated that the importance of building economic opportunities helps the home communities and also instills a sense of pride for the people in Sioux Lookout.

The new restaurant is set to provide jobs, and added economic development for the people, and provides a growing sense of pride and economic achievement in the community.

The event in Sioux Lookout was held during the 43rd All Ontario Chiefs Conference being held in Lac Seul First Nation.

In Sioux Lookout Lac Seul First Nation is the operator of the very busy Tim Hortons and leases the property to Giant Tiger.
