Arrest Made in VIA Rail Train Graffiti Case

THUNDER BAY – CRIMEBEAT – Thunder Bay Police state that they have made an arrest in a case of what many were calling hate graffiti which was on the VIA Rail train in Kam River Park.

The message, “I killed those kids” was put on the train in the park.

Police took a twenty-seven-year-old man, identified as Glenn Kwandibens into custody on Saturday night. There were three police units involved in the arrest which happened on George Street on the east side of the Royal Edward Arms building. The arrest happened at about 10:00PM EDT.

 

Police say the arrest came after information provided to them by citizens who came forward.

Glenn Kwandibens now faces a charge of mischief under $5,000 as well as breach of probation is  of Thunder Bay.
