Police Ask Public to be Vigilant

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are asking the public to remain vigilant and aware especially if you are out in isolated public spaces. Police have received a high number of reports of suspicious vehicles and persons since the media coverage on the two recent reports of attempt abductions.

In a media release, police state “Investigators are going through all the information to determine which is relevant to the current incidents and have been following up on a number of leads. This investigation is ongoing”.

Anyone who may have concerns about a suspicious vehicle or person is encouraged to file a report with the police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477 or www.tipsubmit.com.
