THUNDER BAY – There were 4 new fires confirmed in the Northeast region between May 19 and the evening of May 25 in the districts of Algonquin Park, Sault Ste. Marie and Parry Sound. 

No fires remain active in the region.

The forest fire hazard is low to high across the Northeast region, with the far North presenting a high hazard.
