CALGARY – A well known South East Calgary Drug House has been boarded up. After Calgary Police had to attend over 40 calls to the home in the Dover neighbourhood in the southeast of Calgary, the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods unit stepped in and the home was closed.
Police had been called to the home which is located at 3043 Doverville Cr. S.E.
“This is another example of the crucial role SCAN investigators play in keeping Alberta neighbourhoods safe,” Minister of Justice and Solicitor General Kathleen Ganley said. “All Albertans deserve to live in strong and resilient communities, and I want to thank SCAN for its work on addressing this criminal activity.”
The effort comes as a part of the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Legislation in Alberta that brings increased law enforcement powers and resources to make neighbourhoods safer for the good people in the community.
